A Curious Hunting Cottage by Michelle Talley

Happy November all! I hope this finds all of you well and looking forward to the upcoming opportunities to eat way more than we should. Actually, I am sure we are all looking forward to gatherings with friends and family. The opportunities to make new memories and reflect on memories past. We can all find something to be thankful for, sometimes it is for something amazing, and sometimes, something as simple as fitting into our favorite jeans…

When I was a little girl, every fall my daddy and his brothers would go hunting. He wasn’t really big on hunting, but it was an opportunity to spend time with family. I remember being very happy
that they never had much luck…

Fall is the perfect time to take a lovely walk in the woods, and maybe you will come across a little hunting cottage, covered with bare branches. And inside, in all it’s glory, someones trophy.
Or if you are like me, you might skip the woods, and go hunting for new shoes…

Inka Gold paint in Old Gold and Old Silver
Other supplies: Metal embellishments, super glue, E6000, decoupage glue

I used super glue to assemble the cottage, and decoupage glue to adhere the papers.
I layered the Inca Gold paints to make them look a bit aged. After the paint was dry, I used E6000 glue to add the branches, top and bottom. I also used the E6000 to attach the metal
embellishments.
