Treasure Everyday – Santos Cage Doll Art

Treasure Everyday,these lovely simple words live as a reminder in our hearts,that everyday is a gift, an opportunity, a chance to tell those we love, just one more time ,how much they mean to us. I say,yes,…yes to the dawn of a new day.

The Santos Cage Dolls in the shop just scream out,come create with me.I first assembled this lovely Santos and glued the bottom portion.Once the glue dried I added some rub-on text and then covered it in Inka Gold.

I then added a delicious Botanica Paper Whimsy collage sheet image to the center with the sticker words Treasure Everyday.I added more Inka Gold to the front part of the upper body and then glued the two pieces together.

I knew I wanted a nest to go inside the cage,but the pre-made nest I had did not fit,so I turned it upside dawn, added muslin, book text shreds, seed beads and glued in a small egg in the center with the sticker word “New” attached to it.

I then added more text to the arms and in random spots and attached the arms using a wire coil.

I used a Fancy Wheel as the crown and attached a lovely PW beauty.Finished her up with a cheese cloth skirt, a bit of crochet trim and a rhinestone crown.
