In the Light of the Moon

I’ll be the first to raise my hand…I have always had a love affair with the Moon. When my Creative Journey began,it was in the light of the Moon that my vision became clear.Hence the name of my blog In the Light of the Moon.

DSC03036aSo when Gale added these Curious Mermaid Beauties in the shop…it was the Moon that came calling again.

And so it began with painting the inside and outside of the Fairy House

…and then I used a Jeweler’s saw to cut the Mermaid and her tail so that they would fit inside the house.

I added Tackly glue to the tail and covered it in Mica chips and Glass Glitter

…I then added some rusty wire and glue to the arms and picked lovely image Sheet #245 for the my Mermaids Face…

…and so in she goes, glued into  place, along with some resin covered paper and silver tinsel stems for water.Once all the components inside were dry,I glued on the front part of the Fairy House…

…and added some delicious paper to the side and glitter streaks to the front with Liquid Pearls accents…

and of course The Moon,(Digi 017) Charlie,as I call him,with his crown and wings…

…listening to the sweet Mermaid,

as she sings her song her of Appreciation and Gratitude.
