I’ve been concentrating on embroidery stitches and slow cloth recently. One piece of cloth went nowhere but had it’s good points and interesting sections. A cut out section of this became the basis for the color way of the entire piece. I found pearls, beads, ribbon and a beautiful face to match and the Regal Angel was born.

METHOD

Paint Regal Angel Form – I used gold spray paint which you can find at your local hardware or Walmart.
Wire in some beads or pearls to hang from bottom.
Cut out embroidered section to fit inside the frame part of the piece.
Print and cut out Beautiful Face to fit face form.
Inset embroidered piece and glue parts together.
Add a piece of Sari Silk Ribbon and Metallic embroidery thread to complete face.
