The shoppe is blooming with beautiful new botanique hybrid images that are perfect for creating sweet treasures. This little pouch is not to difficult to make, just some basic sewing skills and will accent your wardrobe or summer decor. The pouch would also make a lovely graduation gift for any lovely young lady!
In your Photoshop program, open the Backgrounds 02 PNG (script) and add a layer (Botanique 16 PNG). Save this file. Open Microsoft Word and insert this image into a new document. Make sure the size is what will be the correct measurements for image on pouch. Print image on to fabric transfer sheet using correct printer settings. Trim fabric transfer sheet to image edge.
Cut two pieces of heavy muslin (or other fabric) into 6.5 inches x 8 inch. Turn under top of the two pieces and sew to make small hem. Sew bits of lace, torn cheesecloth on to center front of one muslin piece. Put a bit of fabric glue on the center of botanique fabric image, secure in center of muslin piece. Machine stitch around edge of image to secure. Hand sew seed beads and buttons along edge of image. Add buttons and beads to top (hem area). With right sides together, sew along bottom and sides of bag to form pouch. Add a ribbon hanger by handstitching at top sides of bag. Add Mica flakes and tag with small rust pin at corner of bag.
