Remember playing with paper dolls and the lovely outfits they could wear as a child? Or creating new wardrobes for them out of bits and baubles? Who doesn’t love creating paper dresses? This project will started on a new paper wardrobe for the season!
Here is the template for easy printing:
Wee Paper Dresses Template
Pink Rose Formal Gown – This dress was made using two pieces of pink cardstock that I overlayed with a white embossed vellum. I added a mid-section of vintage white lace to the center, and a few seed beads. Stitch along the edges on your machine and add a beautiful rose to the center.
Butterfly Parade Dress – This dress was made using two pieces of pattern paper with a foliage motif. I created a ruffle for the bottom of the dress using a coordinating green paper that was folded randomly and stitched on the machine. I used small butterflies to adorn the bottom, and a larger butterfly for the side tag. Attach tag with rusty pin. Small lace remnants were added for accents, and a spray of clear rhinestones added to the collar.
Rust Foliage Dress – This dress was made using two pieces of pattern paper. An apron overlay made out of vellum was also added to the front. Stitch along edges on the machine. I gathered up some vintage lace to attach to the bottom of the dress. The sash was made from ribbon and tied in the back. Accents were made using Art Bits 02 PNG.
