“Mother’s Love” Blue Floral Album

My Mother has always loved blues, greens and white and I created this album with her in mind. With Mother’s Day quickly approaching, why not make a keepsake that Mama will always cherish and the album can be displayed year round. The colors work perfectly with the gorgeous new beautiful faces that are available in the shoppe.

I found a sentimental poem about Mothers and typed it out in Microsoft Word. Printed the poem and cut into strips that were added throughout this little mini album. I painted the edges of the album with craft paint which made it easier when the pattern papers were applied. I glued the inner album page shut (optional) but you can add more images to this section.

The album was covered with various pattern papers using matte gel. I then layered the Blue pastel Digi sheet on the album pages. I printed the Script text from Backgrounds 02 PNG and added it under the images. Alternate the beautiful face images on various album pages. Run bits of lace along the edges and glue buttons on. The poetry strips were glued on to pages using matte gel. I tied a ribbon in the center of the album and made the bow on the outside cover.
