Calendar/Journal for 2008 Review

Last year I found 2 beautiful calendar/journals published by LLC Andrews McMeel Publishing.  They were reproductions made to look like the vintage ledgers we all love, and can seldom afford.  So when I saw that next years calendars were on the bookshelves, I hurried myself over to Amazon to see if there might be new calendars for 2008.  I was so pleased to find the two pictured above were offered, and quickly put them in my cart!  You see, last year, I found the calendars a little later in the season.  When I got them, and saw how wonderful they were, I went back for another set, but they were sold out at the time.  For the modest price, I had planned on altering these, and by the end of the year, have a book filled will art.  To this day, I have not been able to alter them.

These calendars are approximately 12×7 inches in size.  Each spread covers one week, and at each season, there is beautiful collage.  And one more thing, the end papers are beautiful.

So if you should have a weakness for calendars or journals, as I do, you make want to check them out.  Links to Amazon will be provided in the sidebar.

  1. Thank you for featuring these beautiful calendars! I’d never seen these before. And since I’m completely unable to resist items featuring vintage birds or botanicals, I zoomed over to your Amazon link and ordered one of each. They’ve arrived, and I’m just amazed at how very lovely they are, especially for such a reasonable price. My intention is to use them, but it will take a bit of doing to make entries that seem worthy of such a special home.

Thanks again. Love your blogs and your artwork!
