Good day and Happy Holidays fellow Paper Whimsy enthusiasts!
It is so hard to believe that it’s only double digit days to the New Year. Time just goes so fast when you are having fun– especially with so many beautiful Paper Whimsy Alterable’s to use!!
I need more time just to be able to create something wonderful with all of the pieces we have to chose from. It’s overwhelming with the choices we have through Paper Whimsy!!
Today I am featuring a fantastic PaperWhimsy Amazing Alterable™ made into a holiday shaker snow globe.
I used the Curious Ornate Egg Amazing Alterable from PaperWhimsy.
I applied thick gold embossing powder to cover the beautiful intricate cut pieces. Next, added a image of Santa Claus to the egg portion of the alterable. I placed mica flakes over the image and carefully added some clear cellophane to create the “globe” over the image securing it along the edges. The external egg frame is covered with vintage gold glass glitter then glued to the alterable finishing the “snow globe”. Using any holiday paper, I finished the base.
