As I was getting out my Christmas ornaments this year, I noticed that a few of them seemed a little dull or drab. This particular ornament was just a plain bird sitting on a bird’s nest. I felt with a few additions, I could revive it and give it a little more sparkle.
First, I decide to add a few Rusty Tin Tags. But it still needed a little sparkle and so I gilded the eggs and tags with Variegated Gildenglitz. It also needed a little greenery, and I added the green ivy and leaves. To balance out this assemblage, I added a rusty key, Large Rusty Snowflake, small crystal drop, and ribbon.
See what you can add to some of those old tired ornaments. You may come up with some small works of art!

looking at the birds out my windows gives me such joy.
I love this little redone piece of yours. The glass birds some very old are my favorite on our Christmas tree. A memory from my childhood. I have pieces almost like your redone piece that I can fix. It will look just right. Thanks for getting my mind back in gear. Holiday fun.
