The Crow Flies North by Theresa mARTin Published on May 22, 2015May 22, 2015 by Theresa Martin Detail of the Crow Flies North To get a grunge look I scratched into the surface of the paint on the wings. Begin with a quick coat of spray paint. This was done with a spray chalk paint. Collage inside painted Curious Medallion METHOD: Begin by painting the Curious Medallion No. 6. I painted this with chalk spray paint. Choose and place your collage items for the center of the heart. I used Digis 143 and 300 To get a grungy look, I painted black acrylic over the spray paint, sanded it back, and went over that loosely with a metallic paint. The last touches are the collage elements. Here I used cabochons, a clock hand, a cow ear tag and a numbered brad. MATERIALS USED:
Wonderful from beginning to end!!!
What a lovely piece Theresa!
Love how you used the clock hand and the image is perfect!
