Here is a quick and easy way to dress up one of those plain Composition Books. Glue pretty scrapbook paper on the front and back covers. Age the edges and corners with brown ink. If the black spine does not coordinate, just give it a coat of paint. Here I used Lumiere metallic gold. I created a collage using paper from the Madeline collection, and a notecard from the Que Sera collection. I tucked Miss Portia Pink into the notecard like a little pocket. The bird is from Digisheet #026. Tie a pretty ribbon in a bow around the journal, and it’s ready to set by your bedside.
