Vintage Flag Pennants Banner by Cat Kerr

It was so much fun creating this Flag Pennants Banner I’m already thinking of making another one for the window in my studio! DSC05471a   Plus,it was easy peasy lemon squeezy to make! I just covered the pennants in cardstick, added a metal-like trim and roughed up the edges using an emery board… DSC05421     Then I mounted the flags to these Vintage looking cards and sprayed on some walnut ink. DSC05424   I then cut out the heart and words from Sheet# 306 and added glitter on the edges of the heart.I also cut out a scalloped circle using a punch and added liquid dots to the border. DSC05427   DSC05428   I glued on the black circles and then mounted the heart and word using foam dots.Lastly I added some twine and small clothespins to hang the banner.

Now didnt I tell you!! Super Easy! Happy Creating!!

Perfect for Mother’s Day, Very nice Cat.

    • Thank you so much Mary Helene!

  2. I love this! Absolutely wonderful. My concern is that I don’t have a source for such lovely vintage playing cards. Hello Kitty won’t cut it.

    • Hey Jan,the cards I used are from the new Tim Holtz line.I found them in Joann’s.

  3. Lovely and gorgeous Cat 🙂
