Gale has made a wonderful variety of eyes and faces on Sheet 314 which are a perfect fit for the eye tokens. I love to go through my collection of beads and pearls and organize color themes to use with the tokens. The green token uses beetle wings with white pearls and the blue one uses pearls, brass beads and glass beads. The purple one uses glass beads with purple/blue tints combined with pearls, wire and brass colored beads.

It’s early days, but then it’s never too early to consider how amazing eye tokens would look adorning your Christmas tree. What a unique idea for Christmas! And how exciting to have several made up and strung on a garland that decorates your mantle, window or wall. It’s easy to add a loop of gold wire or a pretty ribbon to act as a hanger. You can go quirky as I have done or more traditional. Your imagination is the key to creating amazing and unique ornaments for Christmas and any time of the year.

Method
- Paint the eye token with Inka Gold
- Where there are holes, string wire and beads through the holes. Where there are no holes, twist wire around the edge of the token.
- Assemble two sides with photo of eye once edges are embellished.
Here are the items used and some suggestions of items that will work well with the eye token forms.
