Very cool. I didn’t know about layering over the embossing powder. I am definitely going to try this. Love the window charmers you made, Cat.
Oh My Cat! This is an Excellent Tutorial on Embossing Powder and I Love your Inspire Pieces! Thank You so Much For Sharing!
Thanks foe inspiring us to pull out the old embossing powder ~ great project!
Dear Cat,I really love this project and want to make something similar.I just had two questions.1.What did you use to seal the collage before embossing?2.I’m assuming you applied several layers of utee to the collage.Right? And about how many? Thanks for your help and for an amazing project. 🙂
Hi sweet Julie and thank you for your questions.I used three layers of Modge Podge to seal the images. You can see in photo two(after the video,I added the photo, sticker, words, whatever else you want to add and then I sealed it completely. The more layers of Modge Podge the better in my opinion. As far as the Utee,I used Resin on this project, but have used Utee in the past with similar results. If your using the melting pot to melt the Utee,I would add a spoonful at a time, let it cool, then add another if you choose.Place wax paper on your table top and if it spills over the edge, simply slide it across the wax paper to remove the excess.Hope this helps.xo
Thank you so much! I’m going to give it a go. 🙂
