~ An Angels Flight ~

~An Angels Flight~

Paper Winged Angels with Halos of Silver and Gold.  Some Whimsical Fun to Inspire you!

~Method~

(1)  Paint edges and a Thin Border on your Fancy Angel Shape with Corresponding Color.   I used Silver & Gold Metallic Paint .  Set aside to Dry.  Next,  using your  Angel Shape as you template,   Trace  Angel onto Background Paper. I used a Handwriting script here. Cut out and Paste to back of you Angel. Set aside to Dry.

(2)   Cut out your Genteel Lady. I Antiqued the edge of her with Distressing Ink. Set her aside.  Next,   Print  Both Sides of a Piece of  Cardstock with Corresponding Patterns.   I Used Here Background 01 PNG , Antiquities 06 & 09 JPG.  Using a Oval Shaped Paper Punch,  Punch out Multiple Pieces to Build Your Wings.  Fold Paper Punches in Half and Adhere to your Angel Front.  At this Point I gave the Wings a Dusting of Clear Glitter. Next Adhere your Genteel Lady.

(3)  Now to Embellish!  These Fancy Angel Shapes come with many Extra Little Bits To Play with!  Here I used Glitter for my Halos and Flourishes. I found it Easier to Paint my Pieces first with a Metallic Paint then Add Glitter to them. It gave them a More Finished Look I thought.  There are holes on the larger Angel Shapes to make them into  a Hanger if you would Like!

Hope you Enjoyed my Little Bit of Whimsy!

~*Happy Creating!*~

Hello Miss Julie and Thank you!
I used the Fiskars Brand Scalloped Oval Punches. I used a Combination of both the Larger Oval & Smaller Oval Punch for my Large Angel. I used the Smaller Oval Punch for my Medium Angel.

Those angels are so exquisite, to be so talented. Don’t know if I can even get close to how beautifully you made them but I want to give it a shot, my own version so to speak.
I need to know what size scalloped oval you used to punch the wing parts. Pretty please. I don’t have many punches but have a feeling I’d use that one very often, I’d want to make so many angels just to try to get a tiny bit of what you’ve made. Let me see what coupons I have. Happy Weekend So happy you shared angel project.

Hello Linda!! I am So Sorry about the Delay in getting Back to you! Where have I Been?!
your Question about Printing in a smaller size..I will do my Best to answer your Question. On My Computer, I have Microsoft office. It depends on what Operating System you have on your Computer though. So I double click on my Image and Click on Printer. A Window opens and Brings up your Printing options then Layout options. Layout options is where you find image/Print size options. I chose 3.5 x 5 print size for the Larger Angel and the Smallest Image/Print size ( I think about 2 x 3)for Medium Angel. Hope this Helps Linda!
    Happy Creating Jill
