Oh, how I love those fibers and ribbons!!

I love all the new fibers.  Sometimes it’s hard to just pick one or two.  And when I received the Fiber Joy Samplers, I wanted to make something special.  The combinations looked so yummy together, I knew I just couldn’t split them up.  I decided to make something I could use them all together.

I cut three circles out of felt approximately 3 inches across.  Using 2 of the felt pieces, I started at the outer edge and just sewed loops of the ribbons and fibers.  When I finished the outer row, I started another row that just overlapped the first, and continued till I reached the center.  Since I use the brownish sampler, I thought a lighter color in the center would look good, so I used some of that great ribbon Gale uses to wrapped up all those special packages for shipping.  There will be some extra ribbon and fibers left over, so add a few to the back to hang from the flower.  I had a little piece of lace I added, and some of those gorgeous velvet leaves.  I found the turquoise button in the notions at Walmart.  Who knew they had such neat rhinestones?  I finished by covering the back with the third felt circle, by using fabric glue, and a few stitches around the edges, and added a pinback.
