You can create these hand made treasures using the tutorials provided below. The flowers can be made in a menagerie of textures. Fabrics, ribbon, lace and in many different color combinations and sizes.
Supplies:
Warm and Natural Craft Batting
Beads
Ball Chain
Faerie Charms
Lace
Tea Stained Cheesecloth
Ribbon
Fabric Glue
Fabric Scraps
Needle and Thread
Buttons
To create my flowers I used these online tutorials:
Rolled Flowers
Fabric Flowers
I used Warm and Natural batting for my crescent shape behind the flowers an as their backs. It is super soft on the skin (which I love.) The flowers can be made in a variety of sizes. Add beads, charms, brads, buttons and pretty trinkets to decorate. I used a ball chain that was sewn by hand on each end of the necklace. You could also use ribbon. Little faerie charms were added as accents under the main flower or you could also select some nifty trinket or adornment by Tim Holtz recently added to the shoppe.
I would love to see the fabrics and embellishments you use for your project! Please add a link to the comments section of this post to share your “Fabric Faerie Bib Necklace” inspired creation.
