Piccole Reliquie Boxes

Piccole Reliquie (“small relics”) are charming little boxes that you can make with treasures. Charms, beads, seashells, buttons, any sweet embellishment or trinket. There are oodles of wonderful treasures in the shoppe to add into these little charming boxes. These little eye candy treasures can be displayed anywhere in your home, office space, or given as a token to friends. For those that love swaps who wouldn’t love exchanging wee boxes with your art friends!

Supplies:
Cast Heart Gold Charms
Beads
Words 01 PNG
Seashells – World Mix

Warm and Natural Craft Batting

I created the boxes adding old book text or pattern paper to the back. The outside of the box was covered with paper.

Box #1 – I made a small pillow from Warm and Natural craft batting and hand stitched lace, buttons and beads on to the front. A sweet heart charm was added to the center. Stitch the sides of the wee pillow shut and glue inside the box.

Box #2 – Using the beautiful seashells from the shoppe, I created a collage of at the bottom gluing in place with E6000 glue. I poked holes on the sides (at top) an strung wire through adding beads for sparkle. Add a piece of Words 01 PNG to center under focal shells.

Other terrific additions to your Piccole Reliquie would be some of the new Tim Holtz trinkets and adornments recently added to the shoppe.

I would love to see your Piccole Reliquie boxes!  Please do share them by adding a link in the comments section to your creation.
