The Curious Medallion No.5 makes an interesting book emblem. I’ve been collecting old embossed book covers to use as backgrounds for small mixed media pieces. The Curious Medallion fit this cover perfectly. I cut a small piece of glass for the frame and glued it on to the top piece. To make it feel more handmade, I drew over the hair of the girl with colored pencils. It’s a quick and easy piece and would work on a complete book as well. It would make a cool journal cover.
