February is upon us, it’s cold, it’s gray, and it is short. It is also the month we celebrate love, or remember the long ago, not so hearts and flowers, Valentines Day Massacre. I like to celebrate the many opportunities to have some really great dark chocolate, oh, and of course to celebrate
love…..

PaperWhimsy goodies used:
Magic Garden 12 (suggestion)
Other supplies: Pan Pastel in brown and pink, ball chain, filigree metal butterfly, crystal flats: pink and opal, 2 small binder rings, E6000, Modpodge, Super Glue, Words
After cutting out the paper for the background of the banner and the back ground of the “shield”, I used the Modpodge to adhere the images, then cut out our lovely lady, the butterflies, and the words. I used Modpodge to to layer the images and words, then let them dry.
I used the PanPastel to mush color onto the top piece of the banner, using a little water with a smidge’ of Modpodge to set the color. I also used the same potion to give our butterfly some color love.
When everything was dry,(yes, I waited), I used E6000 to glue the banner pieces together, the SuperGlue to make sure the ball chain was not going anywhere, and neither was the butterfly and crystals! All that was left was to attach the banner pieces together with the binder rings.
