Mini Book by Tina Walker
Mini Books are one of favorite things to make. I love adding little bits of vintage findings, hand-stitching, and eco-dyed pages to create one-of-a-kind objects of love.
I added lots of layer of paint, crackle paint, sanding, and Inka Gold to create a worn, vintage, well loved look.
Inside the front cover frame, I added eco-dyed fabric and lace, with some hand-stitching.
To create my three inside page ‘sections’, I cut leather scraps to fit the house shapes and added more hand-stitching.
For the arch shapes, I adhered faces from the PaperWhimsy printable, 163, then covered each piece with Amazing Crafting Products clear resin.
I wanted additional pages for journaling or additional memory keeping, so I added sheets of eco-dyed papers.
To bind it all together, I used a basic coptic stitch (for single pages). For added strength to the paper inserts, I adhered washi tape to the edge of each page. Besides added strength, it adds a bit of additional pattern and design.
It is pretty bulky and I would recommend making a mini book with less paper inserts, or with just Amazing Alterable pages. Both looks are great!

I totally love how it turned out and can’t wait to create another.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by! Have a wonderful week!
