We’ve been having unusual warm weather for December on the East Coast. I though I’d make an icy silver snow queen from the Curious Medallion Angel to make it feel like the winter season. I added some bling and some textured silver paint for an icy feeling.
All the parts are laid out before assembling.
METHOD:
- I began by painting the alterable with acrylic paint, which I covered with a crackle finish. Over that, I used a shiny metallic spray paint. The crackle finish gave the pieces nice texture.
- The back ground for the torso is black velvet, embellished with silver thread and some cabochons.
- The halo, or hair, is a brass ornament spray painted metallic silver.
- A few more rhinestones, stars and cabochons were added to the body.
- The final touch was a chain with a silver bear bead at the end.
