Do you have a little gift for someone very special? Doesn’t it deserve a special gift wrap? Here’s an easy decoration for a small box.
Paperwhimsy supplies:
Lumiere Paint Halo Violet Gold
- Paint a small box with acrylic paint in chosen color
- Wrap the lid of the box in vintage ledger paper
- Paint a small piece, 2×2 inches of canvas, foamboard, or heavy cardboard, and one pair od wooden wings with chosen Lumiere paint
- Apply Glidenglitz randomly on both painted surfaces
- Attach a Paperwhimsy image to the 2×2 inch square with favorite medium, and glue square to the wings
- Attach two green leaves behind the wings
- Center and glue the canvas/wings to the gift box lid a little higher than center
- Now you can add some embellishments such as ribbons, Prima flowers with rhinestone centers, German scrap trim, small crown, and stamped grunge tag
After scanning the gift box and creating a small layout for this tutorial, I thought I might print the image and use for a quick card. Just add a little gold ribbon, and you have a really special card for friends or family.
I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday Season, and Merry Christmas.
