Really quick wristcuff for all those fashionable ladies on your list. Would make a great stocking stuffer.
Cut two strips of wool felt approximately 1 inch larger than the wrist size. Cut a little piece of lace and lay on top of the felt. Pull a little roving, and randomly lay it accross the lace and using the Clover felting tool, punch through the felt lightly. Add two pieces of ribbon. With fabric glue attach a velvet flower, and three velvet leaves. When fabric glue is dry, add beads to the ribbon, and a small charm. You can attach the cuff with a button or small snaps.
A quick fabric collage on canvas.
This is made on a textured and painted 6×6 gallery wrapped canvas. Using fabric collage sheet #114. A small swatch of fabric for the base, I added A piece of lace, scrim, a ribbon, and a little felted heart with beads. I am doing a series of these and will have some to post in the new year.
Lovely pieces, both of them. Thanks for the inspiration Rande! Happy Holidays to you!

Rande…this is particularly beautiful. I love the softness and “girly” look about it. It’s dreamy!
Happy Holidays to you, too!
