My Fascination with Paper is Fast Turning into a Love Affair. Pairing that with a Love of Vintage.. Oh My! So Many Possibilities. This Beautiful Face Image has been has Occupied my thoughts for Quite While… She is So Lovely… What to Do With Her….? Hmm… A Dimensional Collage.

Technique:
(1) Print a Background on Regular Copy Paper. (I used 2 full sheets to Cover the Canvas) I wanted to Create some Texture so I Crumbled my Paper into a Ball until I got the wrinkled look I wanted. Flip your Canvas over so the Wood Framed Back is Up. Adhere your Background Paper making sure your sheet is Large Enough to Wrap around to the Back of the Canvas Encompassing all edges of the wood as well as the Inner Portion of the Canvas Back . I Then applied a Top Coat to Seal and give Brush Stroke Texture. Set aside to dry.
(2) Next, take your Canvas and Adhere a Paper Lace Doilies to Top and Bottom Outside Frame Edge of Canvas. Then Adhere your Garden Back ground to the Inner Back Portion of Canvas, finishing with your Beautiful Face Image. Continue to add Layers of your Garden Background Images using 3 D Dots on your Outside Frame Edges and Lace Border.
(3) Adhere Bird Cage and Embellish! I Used Paper Doilies, Mini Frames, Buttons, Raffia Ribbon, Vintage Jewelry.
