This accordian album was inspired by the poetic works of Robert Burns, a Scottish poet and lyricist who wrote “Auld Lang Syne” and many other famous poems. “Rabbie Burns” has a special day dedicated to him on January 25th (his birthday) and hails from the same area in Scotland that my paternal grandparents came from. With “love” in the air my theme is his poem “Red, Red Rose” written in “light” Scots dialect (you will notice some of the wording is different).
O my Luve’s like a red, red rose
That’s newly sprung in June;
O my Luve’s like the melodie
That’s sweetly play’d in tune.
I have created a pdf tutorial with directions on how to make this album. All Paper Whimsy supplies are listed in the tutorial. I adore making these little mini albums! They make wonderful gifts or keepsakes for someone special in your life.
