Ti<\/a>n<\/a>a<\/a> here today with my latest PaperWhimsy Amazi<\/a>ng Alterable<\/a> project.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I love combining Amazing Alterables with my favorite junk store finds and molded resin castings.\u00a0 These 3 things make my heart soar with happiness.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>For today’s project, I used the ‘l’<\/a>Abbaye Un’ <\/a>alterable<\/a>.\u00a0 It is full of little niches for your junk finds and has a great architectural look.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I gave the raw alterable a quick coat of gesso so that my papers would be extra bright when applied.\u00a0 I used some of my own vintage papers to fill the back spaces, and the PaperWhimsy ‘l’Abbaye un slip’<\/a> printable for the edges and sides.\u00a0 I printed this on vellum paper so it had a transparent effect.\u00a0 The printable is made specifically<\/span> for this alterable, so no need to measure to size.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Once my vintage papers and printable were applied, I used adhesive metallic tape on the edges for a different look. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Everything was aged with alcohol ink and crackle effects.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I filled the niches with some vintage finds and packing material.\u00a0 (I don’t throw anything away)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I had adhered several of my own casted resin pieces (the face, butterfly, body, and legs) with 2 wings from Prima (Relics & Artifacts)<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I colored each resin pieces with water colors, mica powders, and glitter.\u00a0 Yum!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I finished her off with some bling and a hand-stamped <\/span>sentiment.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 You can never have enough glimmer and shine!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
