Gale captured so much of that in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/paperwhimsy.com\/pages\/old-store?productid=19711&amp;cat=0&amp;page=1\" target=\"_blank\">Winged Gothic Arch<\/a><\/strong> and the Genteel Lady 05 has always reminded me of a Saint so I married them together in this piece. The Arch has several layers which gives it an elaborate look and feel when finished.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-attachment-id=\"6185\" id=\"figcaption_attachment_6188\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Process for Gothic Arch &#8211; Marrying an embroidery section with the alterable.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>METHOD:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I began by painting the arch gold which seemed right to me for a Gothic Arch.<\/li>\n<li>To make the embroidery: I began by making a collage in Photoshop using the Genteel Lady 05 as the focal point.\u00a0 I printed the collage onto cotton using an inkjet transfer paper.\u00a0 I picked the section I wanted to use and embroidered her hair, gave her a rhinestone hair feature, added some beads and painted around her with metallic rose paint.<\/li>\n<li>Once the embroidery was done, I cut it down to fit the arch and sandwiched all the pieces together.<\/li>\n<li>The last touches were the cabochons and roses for the frame.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nMATERIALS USED:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption
