Beatrix Potter’s Journal<\/em> is a compilation of bits and pieces of the artist\u2019s life from 1882, at the age of 16, until 1913, when she married.\u00a0 <\/span>The journal is fairly large, measuring 11.5 by 10 inches, with padded covers.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 <\/span>This is beautifully illustrated book, with watercolor paintings, ephemera, and old photos.\u00a0 <\/span>It contains several foldouts of maps and letters, even a small photo album.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Embedded in a niche in the back cover is the first The Tale of Peter Rabbit, <\/em>in the original black and white print.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 <\/span>I have always wanted to create a really beautiful journal, and when I first saw this book, I knew it would be a great example of the way I would want mine to resemble.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 Miss Potter<\/em>, a movie starring Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor, is a charming story loosely based on the biography of Beatrix Potter.\u00a0 <\/span>As an artist, I loved seeing the studio, the home, and all the beautiful landscape which surrounds this story.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
