Happy October from beautiful Minneapolis! The leaves are starting to change color, most\u00a0mornings are starting out with some chill in the air. Speaking of chills\u2026Halloween is right around\u00a0the corner! Chills, thrills and lots of candy! What\u2019s not to love about that?<\/p>\n

We are going to be meeting a witch named Minerva, that is not a slur on her character, she\u00a0really is a witch! It is her first big party, All Hallows\u2019 Eve, and she is very excited!\u00a0Minerva got a new dress, a new hat and some really amazing boots! She even got her hair\u00a0straightened! She decided to bring a few friends, her pet Ravens, Frank and Stein. She is also\u00a0bringing the spirit of some french chick who sometimes pops in, (literally, with her Raven,\u00a0Armand), when there is the possibility of fiendishly fun partying! Hence the Boo La La!<\/p>\n

I hope everyone enjoys this in between time, not hot and not quite cold, just the promise of\u00a0change on the way!<\/p>\n

Papers: Halloween 01<\/a>\u00a0(download)<\/strong>, BOO! Sheet (download)<\/a><\/strong>, Faerie Sheets: 003, 004, 006<\/a>\u00a0(downloads)<\/strong>, Witchy Hats (download)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Other supplies<\/span>:\u00a0Halloween stamp and brown ink stamp pad,\u00a0Super Glue,\u00a0Modpodge,\u00a0Checked green, and black ribbon;\u00a02 rivets and some string;\u00a06 rhinestones;\u00a0Type<\/p>\n

Method<\/span>:<\/p>\n

Start by painting all pieces of the Niche, and set aside to dry, cut out all the images while\u00a0waiting. After drying, I stamped all the pieces that needed stamping and glued everything with\u00a0SuperGlue. I used ModPodge for glueing all the papers. I attached the arms together with string\u00a0at the joints, and rivets to attach the arms to the niche. Each of the three Ravens got a red\u00a0rhinestone for their eyes and Minerva got green for her bewitching eyes. I twisted the two\u00a0ribbons together, tied a bow and voila, This girl is ready to party! Boo La La, indeed!<\/p>\n

As my mama and dad used to say: \u201cNow, don\u2019t eat all that candy, your going to get sick!\u201d To\u00a0which I usually replied, \u201cI won\u2019t\u201d, which we all knew was probably not true\u2026..Happy Halloween!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
